Individual Classrooms and Instructors

consulationsclassrooms350x230Short-term consultation to teachers/classrooms are available through private means and through my Nonpublic Agency (which means that if districts agree to fund the services, it can be written into an IEP).

Given that some children have very individualized ways of learning, behaving and socializing, sometimes teachers need more information or a hands-on tutorial about specifics. I am available to work with individual teachers or classrooms to set up appropriate accommodations, to consider alternative instructional materials or approaches, or how to talk with classmates about specific disabilities.  Occasionally I consult with teachers to understand the kind of treatment a child has already had and how to generalize this into the classroom setting.
